The Company:

 

Our client is a manufacturer group that will open a market in Russia for its core business the batteries and home appliances. It is one of the world's leading manufacturers of private label batteries (and in the household appliances business line, too)

 

 

The profile of the position is the following:

 

The Position:  Business Development Manager and Office Representative

 

 

Basic Assignment: 

 

This position is responsible for the business opening up of the company in Russia, and for the subsequent commercial distribution of its products (FMCG) and household appliances. 

 


Responsibilities: 



-          Identification and research of market opportunities for current and future products of the company.

 

-          Define, recommend and implement the commercial strategy and the annual Sales Plan agreed to with the Headquarters and in line with the overall growth and profitability strategy that will establish the Group.

 

-          In line with its Business purpose, set annual objectives and budget and monitor progress assuring the achievement of the figures within the country and the level of the business in terms of: pricing, volume, costs, margins, product and the other critical elements of success.

 

-          Discover and develop new business opportunities through the acquisition of long established relationships with the key accounts in the retail sector.

 

-          Sales, commercialization and distribution of the company's products in large department stores, shopping malls, specialized distribution channels and local sales points. 

 

-          Analyze customer/market needs and business opportunities within the niche market and ensure full exploitation of the product range, monitoring carefully and reporting competition activity and trends.

 

-          Organize and control the logistics aspects of the business.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Position Requirements:

 

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate at least 5-7 years of experience in sales, proven track record with multi-channel experience across the accounts in grocery stores, department stores, supermarkets and trade sectors, and in general knowledge of the retail channels in Russia. The candidate will be amongst the best at identifying new opportunities, implementing new products and will have strong new business development skills

 

 

Reporting to: HQ.

 

 

Residence: Moscow.

 

 

Remuneration: It will depend on the characteristics and experience of the candidate finally chosen and the market conditions. 

 

 

Age: Around 35-40 years old.  

 

 

Education: University degree in Economy, Business Administration or Engineering.      

 

 

Languages: Russian and English speaker.
