He was a correspondent for Britains Daily Express, he operated his own firm daling with PR and media relations for Western companies setting up business in Russia and he was an editor for pulications such as Russia Review and Commercial Real Estate. He was a founder of Passport magazine and is currently its managing editor. He has a Masters degree in Russian studies from Exeter University.
